• Digital recorders: Physicians can use digital voice recorders from any leading manufacturers and transfer voice files to Bristol via our secure Web Transfer Application.

Phone-In system: Bristol offers both local and toll-free telephone access to our dictation server. Our phone-in system supports customized greetings, prompts, password security, and medical record number entry. It is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to support dictation whenever and wherever an idea strikes you.

Alternate modes: If clients desire to use their current mode of dictation/voice capture, be it hand held or an in-house phone based dictation systems, we will work with you to find a way to transmit your dictations to our servers with minimal disruption to your existing workflow.

Bristol Also Offers Multiple Report Delivery Options

• Web Delivery System: Bristol's Web Delivery System addresses the problems associated with tracking dictations, receiving documents, and accessing old records from an archive. The Web Transfer Application automatically backs up transcripts on your local computer and allows printing and report generation.
• Direct Server Download: For those customers who want more control of their technology, Bristol offers the ability to log onto our secure FTP server and download their files directly.

Working in Your EHR: Bristol’s medical transcriptionists have worked in most of the leading electronic medical record systems. If you prefer, we can work directly on your EHR or any other document management system.

HL7 Interface: Bristol has the resources and tools to accept HL7 based ADT/ order transmissions via TCP/IP, HTTPS and /or VPN. We also have the capabilities to transmit transcribed documents as a HL7 message back to your interface engines via TCP/IP, HTTPS and or VPN.

Bristol Offers a Wide Variety of Turnaround Times to Meet Your Needs
 
  • Twenty-Four Hour TAT: Most of our customers choose our standard 24 hour turnaround time. All files received by 15:00 will be returned by 12:00 the following day
  • Twelve Hour TAT:Some of our customers need their files back faster and choose our 12 hour TAT. All files received by 8:00 pm will be returned by 8:00 am the following morning.
  • Two Hour TAT: A few of our clients need reports generated quite rapidly. For these customers, Bristol offers two hour turnaround.
